A sun-bathing beauty

May 10, 2012

When you think of Siberian Huskies, you probably get an image in your mind of them buried down in the snow on a blistery day. They were bred to withstand cold arctic temperatures, and have a double coat thicker than most dogs. But don’t tell that to Maxie.

For the past week every morning when I arrive, she can be found laying out in the back yard soaking up the sun. In fact, it’s become part of our routine for me to go over and give her a few belly rubs before she’ll get up to go out for our jog.
